Who we are:
Mother and son bicycling together to promote the
Cross VT trail and healthy living in rural Vermont.
Location:
AcrossVT Bicycle Rental accesses over 10 miles
of the Cross VT trail that runs through the Groton
State Forest. The abandoned railroad bed’s hard-
packed, dirt trail takes you on a mild grade by
pristine lakes, forests and hiking trails with easy
pedaling all the way. Numerous logging roads
and dirt bike trails are open for those who wish a
more rugged workout. We are located in the
village of Groton, Vermont,10 miles from the
Connecticut River.
Equipment:
Specialized Expedition is the Cadillac of bikes. The
comfortable, wide, spring-base saddle, fantastic
suspension, upright ride positioning, and
Therapeutic Body Grips to prevent numbness all
conspire to put the comfort back into bicycling. Most
of the bikes have carriers on back and an optional
basket up front. Two tag-a-longs and a ibert baby
carriers are also available.
